Four components with different mechanisms of action

Chondroitin sulfate

adheres to the esophagus, gastric mucosa and protects it by isolating it from the effects of gastric juice

Hyaluronic acid

helps to protect and restore the damaged gastric mucosa

Aloe

together with honey creates a barrier effect, thereby strengthens, soothes and protects the esophageal mucosa, as well as protects the stomach

Honey

has a calming, moisturizing and protective effect; forming a barrier on the esophageal mucosa, protects and moisturizes it, at the same time relieves pain

Indication

GERDOFF® Protection is a medical treatment with a mechanical action that is indicated for: 

  • The symptomatic treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease. It quickly reduces symptoms such as: Heartburn (pyrosis), acid or alkaline regurgitation, regurgitation due to the position and nocturnal regurgitation, epigastric pain, irritating cough and nocturnal cough,  dysphonia. 
  • Prevention of damage caused by the irritant action of acids produced in the stomach. 

Composition

Water; honey; maltodextrin; fructose; chondroitin sulphate; potassium phosphate; dipotassium phosphate; xanthan gum; sodium hyaluronate; aloe vera gel (aloe barbadensis); guar flour; banana flavour; cream flavour; sodium hydroxide; methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate sodium salt; sodium propylparaben.  

Dosage and directions for use

Dose for adults and children over 12 years: 10-20 mL after main meals and before going to bed, or as needed in the event of symptoms such as stomach pain and burning in accordance with medical advice. 

Doses for children over 6 years: it is adviced to use the product only after consulting your doctor. 10 mL after main meals and/or before going to bed, or as needed in the event of symptoms such as stomach pain and burning. 

Directions for use

Take the product directly into the mouth. Avoid drinking anything immediately after swallowing GERDOFF® Protection so that its components have a longer time to act.

Contraindications

Known hypersensitivity to one of the components. 

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

There are no specific restrictions regarding use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is adviced to use the product after consulting your doctor.
